Newborn Galleries

The first few weeks of your newborn's life are an exciting time but they can also be hectic and overwhelming. It's my goal to take the stress out of getting those first shots of your little one by coming to you and making the process as easy as possible. The newborn session takes place entirely in your home. You and the baby get to stay in a comfortable, safe environment while I get to capture those first adorable days. I feel so honored to be a part of this special time and look forward to meeting you and the new addition in your family!

Common In-Home Newborn Session Questions

How far in advance should I book?

I typically book 3 months in advance so the sooner you reach out the better. I typically I have 1-2 spots open each month based on who has arrived but these so I do encourage to reach out if your newborn has already arrived. Again the sooner the better, I much more likely to be able to fit you in for a session if your baby is only a few days old rather already 2-3 weeks old.

How does scheduling work if my due date is just an estimate?

When you decide to book, your due date goes on my calendar and I remain "on call" during that time (yes, I'm pretty much always on call). When your baby has arrived, I ask that you let me know within two days of their arrival and we will get the session officially scheduled.

What do I need to provide?

I bring everything necessary for the session. I have an extensive selection on props, headbands, wraps and other fun little things that create the most adorable portraits. Am I obsessed with newborn props? Maybe. But my never-ending obsession means a more choices for you.

What kind of space do you need for the session?

A small/medium dark room works best. I bring the setup and lighting so I won't need to utilize any of your furniture or walls during the session. The most important factor is a space that we can keep very warm. The nursery or empty guest room are usually ideal spaces in large homes, while the living room is typically best in smaller houses and apartments.

What's the cost of the session and what is included?

Multiple session options are available with packages starting at $395.
